Les missions du poste

About the CompanyEstablished in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026."Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
We are seeking a Flight Dynamics Engineer to support the definition, design, and operational preparation of flight dynamics solutions for rendezvous, proximity operations (RPO), and docking missions. Working closely with mission operations, Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), and software teams, you will support the development, validation, and maintenance of the flight dynamics systems, and operational products required to safely execute complex satellite manoeuvres. This role spans the full mission lifecycle, from concept refinement and system design through verification, validation, operational readiness, and mission support. You will contribute to the preparation of flight dynamics products and procedures, ensuring robust and reliable support for spacecraft operations in both nominal and contingency scenarios. Alternative location: Luxembourg.Job DescriptionDefine and design flight dynamics concepts, analyses, and operational strategies for RPO and docking missions.Develop, configure, and validate flight dynamics software, tools, and operational products supporting mission preparation and execution.Develop and verify rendezvous and docking trajectories, approach strategies, and contingency scenarios.Generate, analyze, and validate spacecraft maneuver plans while assessing propulsion system performance and operational constraints.Support mission analysis, simulations, rehearsals, and end-to-end operational validation campaigns.Produce, maintain, and improve flight dynamics operational procedures, mission products, and technical documentation.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define mission requirements, operational concepts, and system interfaces.Contribute to the verification and validation of flight dynamics algorithms, software, and operational workflows.Support mission readiness reviews and provide technical expertise during mission preparation and operational execution when required.Plan and monitor the delivery schedule for flight dynamics products and documentation.
