About the Company
Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions
"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO. Our first, OG-1 was launched on 1 May 2023, the second is launching in 2025 and the third third launching in 2026.
"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.
We are looking for an IT Admin & Support to handle both day-to-day user support (N1/N2/N3 helpdesk) and the administration of the company's IT infrastructure. This hybrid role - split equally between helpdesk and systems administration - is critical in a demanding space systems environment. You will be the go-to IT contact for all internal teams, while actively contributing to the availability, performance, and security of our infrastructure.
Job Description
1. Helpdesk Support - N1 / N2 / N3
- Handle first-level support (N1): common incidents, password resets, workstation issues, printers, and office software.
- Resolve N2 tickets: advanced diagnostics, network troubleshooting, configuration issues, and access rights management.
- Escalate to N3 for complex issues involving servers, virtualization, or network equipment.
- Manage and prioritize tickets using an ITSM tool (creation, tracking, resolution, closure, reporting).
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding: provisioning and revoking access (AD, email, VPN, business applications).
- Deploy and configure workstations (images, software, peripherals) on both Windows and Linux environments.
- Run internal training sessions and awareness programs on IT best practices and cybersecurity.
2. Systems and Network Administration
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, user workstations, and associated services (file sharing, backups, antivirus, Active Directory).
- Manage local and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Google Cloud, or equivalent).
- Administer network infrastructure: switches, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, VLANs, routing.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and usage; plan upgrades and capacity expansion.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and manage the hardware/software lifecycle.
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware, Proxmox) and backup solutions.
3. Documentation and Continuous Improvement
- Draft and maintain IT procedures, user guides, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the helpdesk knowledge base (FAQs, resolution guides, tutorials).
- Propose improvements to tools, processes, and service levels (SLA/OLA).
Le profil recherché
Requirements
- Degree (Bac +2 to Bac +5) in IT, computer science, networks, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support and/or systems and network administration.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and firewalls.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Proxmox), backup solutions, and endpoint security tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and ISO practices.
- Strong service mindset, communication skills, reactivity, and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Fluent in French; technical English proficiency.
Good to have:
- Experience in regulated/high-security sectors (e.g. defense, aerospace).
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash), automation, and monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, Nagios).
- Exposure to PLM, configuration management systems, or software development environments.
- Familiar with ERP (Odoo, ...)
